All whom join by 5 July 2014 will become Charter Members

   Membership in the LVDM is totally voluntary; but, does require quite a large commitment from our members.  Membership is open to all that have reached the age of 17.  Though not a requirement all members are encouraged to join Oath Keepers.

   Under law currently serving Active Duty and Reserve Military personnel can not become active members of a Militia.  Those with non-violent or drug related felonies may be accepted in unarmed non-combat support roles to be determined on a case by case basis. 

   All members must be prepared to swear an Oath of Allegiance to the US and Nevada State Constitution's as well as to the LVDM and uphold that Oath at all times.  Members are required to obtain and maintain their own equipment; we realize this can be expensive so members are not expected to have full kits on day one but must obtain a full kit with in 12 months of being sworn in as a full member, you will need to have a basic kit with in 30 days.
